So I wanted to recreated the douwe egrets logo, and instead of having its original colours I have changed them so they are relevant to the flavour of the coffee which i have presented. this logo is one of the first logos which Douwe Egberts had.
Although the logo still does look traditional it looks much more updated, and the surrounding of the logo has changed, from being a plant with buds or berries to a daisy shaped flower, i personally think this makes it look more up to date.
As well as changing the colours on the logo I have updated the lady in the image, as she was wearing very traditional clothes and pouring the coffee into old fashioned mugs, i thought if the coffee was going to appeal to a younger generation hen it would need to have a more current/ up to date version of a lady making coffee.
